KDC Associates was retained to design a small outdoor plaza to serve as a focal element in the renovation of a declining downtown area.  The plaza reflects the industrial nature of the community with corten steel columns and heavy limestone base material.  An dynamically illuminated water feature serves as both a sculptural element as well as interactive play for children visiting the plaza.  Adjacent to a popular restaurant, the plaza would include limited outdoor seating as well as a small stage for area performers.
