KDC completes the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan for the City of Midland, Texas.  This plan outlines assets and deficiencies in the city's park system and sets long term planning and development goals for growth.  Plan suggests the consolidation of Midland's four community parks into sports-specific categories for league play.  The plan suggests almost $60 million in renovation improvements for Hogan and Beal Parks.  It recommends the formation of a non-profit foundation for the city's park system to aid in public-private partnerships for parks improvements.  The plan also highlights the need for an aggressive hike/bike trail system connecting the neighborhoods of the city.
